Heres the effect: An attractive stand is seen by the audience to hold 6 SHARP razor blades, and a spool of thread. The magician picks up a newspaper, unfolds it, takes one blade off of the magnetic strip, and slices through the newspaper with the blade, proving it's sharpness.

You, the magician, do this with all six blades. Next, a length of thread about three feet long is placed into your mouth. Finally, you cleanly pick up ALL SIX BLADES and place them into your MOUTH!

The audience holds it's breath, as they try to fathom what you are doing!! You slowly swish your mouth around, moving the blades in your mouth, when, finally, a little piece of thread appears from your grinning mouth.

You start pulling on the thread and out of your mouth six inches of thread, and THEN ONE OF THE BLADES, FIRMLY TIED TO THE THREAD!!! You keep pulling, and, another six inches of thread comes out of your mouth, with ANOTHER RAZOR TIED TO IT. This continues until the entire three foot section of thread has been pulled from your mouth, with the six blades evenly spaced and knotted on it!!!

After a moment of disbelieving silence the audience erupts into enthusiastic applause! They LOVE IT!!!
